Sometimes I drift,
Away from here.
No good bye,
I disappear.
I leave this place,
Far behind.
And retreat,
Inside my mind.
An empty void,
Just nothingness.
Except my thoughts,
No loneliness.
It's just me,
Here inside.
A little peek,
When I confide.
You've a place,
Just the same.
Where you escape,
All your pain.
But no one really,
Has entered this.
Not even you,
My own abyss.
Maybe I'll let you,
In sometime.
To this quiet,
Place of mine.
But then where,
Will I go?
All my secrets,
You will know.
Then again,
You have trusted me.
With all of yours,
I hold them tightly.
Guarded words,
So precious to you.
I hold them close,
Away from view.....
